Common questions
Is Pocketz a bank? No. Pocketz is a virtual ledger for tracking allowances and family "currencies". No real money ever changes hands inside the app. See the Financial Disclaimer for details.
Can I delete my account? Yes. Open the app → Settings → Security → Danger zone → Delete account. The deletion is permanent and includes all your account, currency, and transaction data.
Can I export my data? Yes. Email us at the address above and we'll send you a JSON export.
I forgot my password. Use the "Forgot password" link on the sign-in screen. You'll need a recovery email on file. If you didn't set one, contact us.
The app says my email isn't verified. Check the verification email we sent (including the spam folder). If you don't see it, you can request a new one from inside the app.
