Common questions
Is Pocketz a bank? No. Pocketz is a virtual ledger for tracking allowances and family "currencies". No real money ever changes hands inside the app. See the Financial Disclaimer for details.
Can I delete my account? Yes. Open the app → You → Danger zone → Delete my account. The deletion is immediate and permanent and includes all your account, currency, and transaction data. It does not cancel a Pocketz Plus subscription; cancel that in your Apple ID settings.
Can I export my data? Yes, for free on every plan. Open the app → You → Download my data. You get a JSON file you can save or share. If you can't use the app, email us and we'll send it once we've confirmed the account is yours.
How do I get my data onto a new phone? Pocketz doesn't use passwords. Before switching phones, open You → Back up & sync account and link Sign in with Apple or Google, then sign in with the same provider on the new phone.
